Kirchdorfer News 1/2022

Technological progress never stands still and the joint efforts of European countries spearheading a climate-neutral future leave no stone unturned in our industry either. We are therefore pleased to once again report on important achievements in the current issue of our Kirchdorf News.

With the commissioning of the new calciner at the Kirchdorf cement plant, the highest possible energy efficiency within the current state of the art technologies was achieved – and this with a groundbreaking technical and structural achievement. The other business lines are also already contributing their share to a CO2-neutral future: Martini Beton is creating a new attraction in the upper Mühlviertel with a photovoltaic lighthouse project, MABA Fertigteilindustrie is already achieving respectable ratings in the EcoVadis® Award from a standing start, and DELTABLOC® is entering into a “Green Deal”.

In addition to a fact check on the availability of construction raw materials, social responsibility in practice at the Ševětín quarry in southern Bohemia and a safety offensive at the KCS road infrastructure portfolio, this summer’s issue even takes us to the capital of Tanzania, where a new building is causing a sensation.

We wish you an entertaining reading journey!
