DELTA BLOC International GmbH operates worldwide as a market and technology leader in the field of vehicle restraint systems. With the new PHONOBLOC® DB NBF system, the restraint system and noise protection are effectively combined for the first time. The Lower Austrian company is now leaping across national borders.
PHONOBLOC® noise protection systems protect neighbors from noise pollution along busy streets and railway lines and are therefore a pivotal issue in modern traffic route planning. Now it has been possible to combine noise protection and a restraint system in an efficient way in the PHONOBLOC® DB NBF system. DB NBF has no foundation and consists of only 3 components – a heavy base element made of concrete, traditional steel supports and modular, freely selectable noise protection panels. PHONOBLOC® DB NBF is the world’s only free-standing noise barrier up to a wall height of 6 meters. The construction width is extremely narrow at only 1.25 meters.
The small footprint of the DB NBF system is a clear advantage. The system, which has been crash-tested according to containment levels H2 and H4b in accordance with EN 1317, ensures maximum efficiency and maximum noise protection up to class A5 on the media as well as along the side of motorways and roads. In the Austrian “home market”, business with PHONOBLOC® noise protection systems is already in full swing. The Lower Austrian experts for the Austrian Federal Railways have already installed 50,000 square metres along railway lines and stations, designed for train speeds of up to 250km / h. Large noise protection projects along the A12 Kufstein / Kiefersfelden are also underway in Tyrol.
