The president of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce, Doris Hummer, presented six well-deserved Upper Austrian entrepreneurs and business officials with the decrees on the awarding of the professional title „Kommerzialrat“ (Commercial Council).
Erich Frommwald, who is celebrating his 25th company anniversary this year and who has been the sole managing director of the entire Kirchdorf group of companies since 2004, was given the professional title of „Kommerzialrat” by Federal President Alexander van der Bellen on October 19, 2018.
In addition to his successful entrepreneurial activity, the native of Styria also provides his specialist knowledge and commitment in the service of business representation, among other things in the specialist representation and in the committee of the Stone and Ceramic Industry and on the board of the Association of the Austrian Cement Industry and the Upper Austrian Association of Industrialists.
As Chairman of the Energy and Climate Strategy Group and Energy Spokesman for the Upper Austrian Industry, he is largely responsible for an industry-friendly energy and climate policy in Upper Austria and also contributes to this with the Kirchdorf Group. The Kirchdorf cement plant is currently the most resource-efficient and low-emission cement plant in all of Europe.
