The Kirchdorf cement plant hast been in existence for over 130 years as a specialist in binders and cement.

The company places highest value on the most environmentally friendly production possible. This is in large parts achieved through natural raw material extraction as well as increased use of alternative fuels and alternative fuel technologies, under the greatest possible protection of the environment. Besides cement, special products like the HRB sub-base binder and KISLAG ground slag sand are also manufactured.

The modern concrete laboratory ensures further development of the product range. Highly qualified concrete technologists advise and support customers directly on the construction site.
Installed in 2016, the cement plant features a worldwide unique facility for industrial exhaust air purification and heat recovery based on the award winning DeCONOx process, developed in Upper Austria.

The energy generated from the waste heat ist fed 100% into the local district heating network, thus supplying some 800 households throughout the year – which covers about a fifth of the entire Kirchdorf district heating requirements.
